Join the Reading Historical Commission for a compelling talk, WWII European Tour with former resident Vernon Chandler. Mr. Chandler will discuss the multi-country journey through Europe he took to trace the footsteps of his first cousin, Pvt. Kenneth Miller, who was killed in Germany on October 18, 1944. Kenneth was 19 when he died, and his remains were never found. Additionally, Mr. Chandler will share the stories behind his visits to the WWII graves/memorials of several Medford, MA, Reading, MA and Hamilton, MA citizen soldiers during his journey.
